In its 27th year, the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen is the epicurean magazine’s signature event, bringing together 50 of the world’s foremost authorities on wine and food at 80 sold-out cooking demonstrations and wine seminars. In addition, over 300 wines and luxury lifestyle brands gather together in the Grand Tasting Pavilion, the epicenter of the event, to pour over 50,000 bottles of wine and exhibit their newest products.
The 2009 Classic in Aspen features a star-filled line-up of trendsetters in both food and wine. They will share their favorite recipes, techniques, and trade secrets with 5,000 foodie followers.
The FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen offers over 80 cooking and wine seminars, 50,000 bottles of wine to sample at the Grand Tasting Tents, along with hundreds of exhibitors previewing their latest products. Taste of Atlanta

Located in the Midtown area of Atlanta, the annual Taste of Atlanta is a weekend-long food festival, featuring live cooking demonstrations and classes. There will be lots of great food to sample from over 75 restaurants in the area.
Taste of Atlanta is non‐stop fun: Cooking stages, celebrity chefs and demonstrations by local chef offering something for everyone including children activities.
Some restaurants this year include Rathbun’s, Imperial Fez, OK Cafe, Taqueria del Sol, Taco Mac and Food 101. I understand more are being added now.

Amelia Island Shrimp Festival

The Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival celebrated it’s 46th anniversary with more than 300 juried Fine Arts & Crafts exhibitors, 75+ Antiques & Collectible vendors, Fun Zone with kid friendly activities, live entertainment from three stages and Pirates!
The Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival includes dozens of food booths featuring shrimp specialties.
The Fine Arts Show has been ranked 38th in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine as part of their 200 Best Shows in the United States.
Each year, the Festival is held in the Historic downtown Centre Street business district in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, Florida.
The Parade Theme for 2009: “Home Grown Shrimp, the Pick of the Litter”.
The Pirate Parade will begin at about 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 30th.

The 8th Annual Miami International Wine Fair, will be held September 26 to 27, 2009 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. This is one of the largest wine trade shows in America, featuring almost 500 producers showcasing more than 1,500 wines from 20 countries.
The Miami International Wine Fair has become the leading event for boutique wineries from around the world with limited-production wines available only in a handful of fine restaurants and specialized retailers.

The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine, is a national, four-day event showcasing talents of the world’s most renowned winemakers, spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities.
Hosted by Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida and Florida International University (FIU), the festival benefits the Teaching Restaurant and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center, both located at FIU.
The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine, began as a one-day festival known as the Florida Extravaganza held at FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus.
For six years, the Florida Extravaganza showcased wines from national and international wineries paired with food from local restaurants and chefs working with students of FIU’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
In 2002, Lee Brian Schrager, Director of Special Events and Media Relations at Southern Wine& Spirits of America, reinvented the Florida Extravaganza.
Now in its eighth year, the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival is one of the largest food and wine festivals of its kind in the country and combines worlds most celebrated chefs and culinary personalities set against the backdrop of America’s Riviera, South Beach.
