Oglethorpe Museum Dachau Exhibit
Taste of Atlanta
Dates: October 10th & 11th, 2009
Location: the streets of Midtown at Technology Square (Midtown) Atlanta Ga
Located in the Midtown area of Atlanta, the annual Taste of Atlanta is a weekend-long food festival, featuring live cooking demonstrations and classes. There will be lots of great food to sample from over 75 restaurants in the area.

Taste of Atlanta is non‐stop fun: Cooking stages, celebrity chefs and demonstrations by local chef offering something for everyone including children activities.
Some restaurants this year include Rathbun’s, Imperial Fez, OK Cafe, Taqueria del Sol, Taco Mac and Food 101. I understand more are being added now.
You can find foods from many of the new and off the beaten path restaurants to time-tested favorites Taste of Atlanta encourages food lovers to explore the best the city has to offer.
Flavors American Liver Foundation
The American Liver Foundation taps into the new fooddie culture and offers a banquet in which guests can experience new tastes, sights and sounds – almost as if they were starring in their very own food show with their local celebrity chef!

Each Flavors event spotlights premier regional chefs and creates a high-end, exclusive, gourmet experience for a limited number of guests. Nowhere else will you witness firsthand these culinary experts creating a menu that goes above and beyond the usual restaurant fare.

Flavors of Phoenix

Presented by Mayo Clinic Arizona, the 18th annual Flavors of Phoenix is an unique gourmet delight sure to please your palate. Thirty-two of the top chefs from across the state of Arizona assemble for a night of elaborate table décor, exquisite food, fine wine, and a great cause. Each chef has his or her own table for 12 with the responsibility of providing linens, flowers, theme- related objects or any other items to make each table unique.
Flavors of Indianapolis

Inman Park Festival

Inman Park Festival Parade!
The Inman Park Parade will make its annual roll through the streets for Inman Park at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 25, 2009.
Now in its 38th year, the parade is Atlanta’s quirkiest and most colorful parade led by the Inman Park butterfly, followed by marching bands, floats, art cars, politicians, drill teams, mascots, clowns, jugglers, and many more, closed by the Inman Park Trash Queen riding aloft a city street sweeper. The parade takes place rain or shine.
